Three highly skilled photographers have captured inspiring images of Leeds with award their winning pictures as part of the One World Leeds photography competition.
First prize goes to Paul Dishman for his photograph taken during Leeds Light Night. Paul’s colourful performer contrasted against the stark silhouette of Leeds Town Hall at sunset wowed the judges. Second prize was won by Rahman Hassani, a photo journalist who couldn’t resist the elaborate colourful displays on show at Leeds West Indian Carnival. See other photos by Rahman on his website http://rahmanhassani.com/.
Karl Wilson won third prize with his very different perspective on the Leeds skyline.
The winning photographs will be featured in the next edition of One World Leeds magazine, which is printed and distributed in Leeds.
